The Samsung Galaxy S25, officially announced on January 22, 2025 features a range of advanced specifications designed for high-end performance. The device supports multiple network technologies, including GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, LTE, and 5G, ensuring global connectivity. The phone has a sleek design with dimensions of 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2 mm and a weight of 162 g. It is built with a glass front and back using Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced durability, and features an aluminum frame. The phone is also IP68 certified, meaning it is dust-tight and water-resistant, capable of being immersed in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The frame uses Armor Aluminum 2 for extra protection.

The display is a 6.2-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits, offering vivid and sharp visuals. The screen boasts a 1080 x 2340 resolution and has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with around a 91.1% screen-to-body ratio. Running on Android 15 with Samsung's One UI 7, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (3nm) paired with an octa-core CPU. The CPU consists of two high-performance cores clocked at 4.47 GHz and six efficiency cores at 3.53 GHz, with the Adreno 830 GPU handling graphical tasks. The Galaxy S25 has no expandable storage but offers three internal storage variants: 128GB with 12GB of RAM, 256GB with 12GB of RAM, and 512GB with 12GB of RAM, all using UFS 4.0 for fast read/write speeds.

The camera system is a triple-lens setup with a 50 MP wide sensor, a 10 MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide sensor. Features include OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), dual-pixel PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), and the ability to record 8K video at 24/30fps, 4K at 30/60fps, and 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps. The 12 MP front camera supports HDR and can record 4K video at 30/60fps.

The device also features stereo speakers tuned by AKG, offering high-quality audio with 32-bit/384kHz audio support, but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2, which supports DisplayPort 1.2 and OTG.

For battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is equipped with a 4,000 mAh Li-Ion battery. It supports 25W wired charging (with 50% charge in 30 minutes), 15W wireless charging (Qi2 ready), and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The phone is available in multiple colors, including Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, Silver Shadow, Pink Gold, Coral Red, and Blue Black.

The Galaxy S25 supports multiple sensors like a fingerprint sensor (under-display, ultrasonic), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. It also includes features such as Samsung DeX and Wireless DeX for a desktop-like experience.
